What is Nooks?

Nooks is a platform transforming sales reps from manual laborers to scientists. With today’s technology, sales reps shouldn’t need to manually write hundreds of emails, research hundreds of websites/linkedins, and make hundreds of calls. They should instead focus on the parts of their job that actually require people - talking to customers, being creative, and problem-solving. With a combination of AI tools, automation and real-time collaboration, Nooks can do the rest.

    The problem

    Sales pipeline is critical for growing companies. Many, especially B2B companies, have teams of sales/business development representatives (SDR/BDRs) or full-cycle account executives whose responsibility is to identify, contact, and qualify new potential customers. There are ~750,000 SDR/BDR’s in the US alone (e.g. Airtable, Brex, Databricks and many other tech companies have sizable SDR/BDR teams)

    In their day-to-day, SDR/BDRs spend time on 3 main activities:

    1. Prospecting & research - identify a list of potential customers using signals like industry, size, fundraising, headcount growth, new hires, job descriptions, etc.
    2. Email & LinkedIn messaging - write messages to those contacts to convey the problem and pitch your product. The goal is for them to book a demo
    3. Calling - Live phone conversations often have higher conversion than emails because they’re more personal, but there’s a lot more manual work involved

    Most of the sales rep’s job can be automated with today’s technology: large language models, web scraping, automation, integrations, etc.

    Growth Marketer

    The Role

    We’re looking for a world-class growth marketer who can help bring “Nooks Love” to our (very!) fast growing community of prospects, partners, and customers.

    You’re passionate about building exceptional digital and in-person initiatives. You’ve created marketing programs that energize communities. You’re growth-centered, knowing how marketing helps build sales pipeline. And you have the technical chops to keep our marketing machine humming.

    Responsibilities

    As part of this role, you’ll:

    • Work closely with our Senior Growth Marketer (a legend), VP of Marketing, and the rest of the GTM team to accelerate market visibility and pipeline growth.
    • Identify, build, and share great customer stories. We have lots of “Nooks Love” from our users, and we want the world to know!
    • Build and execute engaging digital marketing experiences that have a strong social media reach.
    • Partner with sales development, customer success, and sales to generate content that enriches our community.
    • Collaborate with marketing, sales development, and third-party partners to deliver great in-person events.
    • Develop SEO and thought leadership content that measurably improves our digital presence.
    • Use data to prioritize new marketing programs and tune our existing activities.
    • Leverage our go-to-market stack, including Hubspot and other tools, to execute marketing campaigns.

    Requirements

    • Our customers are at the heart of what we do. So, a strong community-focus is a must-have.
    • 4+ years in marketing with a strong track record of exceeding goals.
    • Strong analytical and data-led approach to addressing decisions.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; social media savvy.
    • Experience working with a modern sales and marketing tech stack.
    • Comfortable collaborating with partners, consultancies, contractors, and other hybrid relationships.
    • Skills with SEO and digital ads are a plus.
    • Domain expertise in the world of outbound sales or sales technology is helpful.
